L2A 2012 LAST Olympic Update

With the London 2012 Olympics having been and gone, the London to Amsterdam team have been totally inspired to go out and ride their hearts out in September. Whilst the team has still not been able to train all together they have been putting the miles in, even on their own whilst traveling. This bring me very nicely to Dietmar Walter who I would like to introduce to you and clearly is the brains in the team. Dolomite Diet, as we like to call him, is Italian by birth and fluent in German, English and his native tongue and is very much looking forward to learning French, Flemish and Dutch whilst cycling through these countries. He is also an accomplished musician and taught the subject for a number of years so the rest of us are considering calling him Dietmar Amadeus Mozart. He is composing his Sonata for bicycle No.21 in F minor ‘Appassionata’, Op 57 Allegro ma non troppo and we are all very much looking forward to hearing it.

Being Italian he is always very smart with his own designer range of clothing to match his Italian engineered bike, which if it were beer would probably be the best bikes in the world!

This is the one that you missed – https://connect.garmin.com/activity/209525349

We are all very much inspired to see the Para Olympics get underway which will end on the same day as our ride to Amsterdam for the The Berkshire Cancer Centre.
