How many times have you been delayed, through no fault of your own, and been late for a meeting?
Whilst getting more and more frustrated, have you ever thought there must be a better way?
I have, and would like to share this way with you. A way without travel and even if you are so late you missed the start, middle or maybe all of your meeting. The good news is there is now a new way and even watch on demand.
On the 28th May 2015 at 12.30, I and my fellow pioneers organised a meeting that enabled some of the attendees to do just that. Thanks to our kind hosts QV Offices in the centre of Reading Berkshire, we arranged the first virtual and physical meeting. I wanted to showcase Google Hangouts and broadcast this meeting ‘live’ using YouTube so that others could watch from anywhere.
With the support of Paul Allen Media, Phil Aston of Genius Loci and The Late Breakfast we approached Pitmans Solicitors and asked if they would be able to help. We wanted to find someone who understood about social media and staying the right side of the law. Will Richmond-Coggan spoke eloquently for 30 minutes for us and Sarah Santacroce from Geneva, Switzerland and Paul Goggin from Kent, UK and nearly 30 other people who had signed up to watch from all over the world. We had also invited guests to join us and watch Will present to a traditional audience.
